What is Venetian Plaster?

Venetian plaster is putty made from fired limestone and water, creating lime plaster. When the lime plaster is applied to walls or ceilings and exposed to the co2 in the air, the mixture turns back into limestone again.

All our finishes are sealed with a wax coating, making them non-porous and easy to clean. We recommend washing with a cloth, warm water, and mild soap, then pat dry. Venetian plaster dries quickly without retaining moisture. Venetian plaster can also be applied in several styles, textures, and sheens in any colour requested.
